ACTIVITIES WE ARE WORKING ON!
We have a house to take in children in Angola, in the province of Luanda 'capital',
a house capaple of accommodating 20 boys. We are already working on the discipleship and formation of these boys. The boys that live in this house are permanently under our care and this house is only for boys, 'males'.
They are boys that we collect from the streets of Luanda, We have boys from the ages between 8 and 13 years of age, we find them living in the streets, lost, drugged, completely disorientated, these kids have never been loved. We have interviewed them and we have found out that not all of them are orphans, some have parents hemos visto que no son todos huérfanos,
a la defensiva, por el estilo de vida que conocen;
MISIONEROS
EN LA OBRA !
In the house of refuge for children we have 3 wonderful hard working brothers that are colaborating arduously in the education and care of these boys. They often go out onto the streets where the children live to evangelize until they achieve to bring them to the house of refuge. This is not easy because these children are very accustomed to live on the streets so the missionaries that are supporting us to serve in that area are being a
great blessing, they belong to a local Pentecostal church of the Assemblies of God in Luanda.
The sister Daniela is responsible for the kitchen. She is the one that makes
it possible for the children to have food on the table every day. She also cleans the house and washes the clothes.
David serves in his local church and also lives in the house of ‘Jesús Cristo Vive’(Jesus Christ Lives). He is responsible for the care of the children during the night and during the morning he leads the devotional time of the children, he gives classes teaching them to read and write to prepare them to enter school.
João does similar to David. When David has time off, João takes care of the children, he takes them for a walk in a group, participates in their education and watching over them. He also dedicates himself to the shopping for the maintenance of the house.
